Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and GDPR Compliance
SyncKicks respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU Data Act. This policy describes the types of information we collect from you or that you may provide when you connect your Shopify store to our application.
2. The Principle of Data Minimization
We strictly adhere to the principle of data minimization. We only collect the data absolutely necessary to perform inventory pricing automation.
What we DO collect:
- Your account email and billing information.
- Your Shopify Store URL and API tokens.
- Product data: SKUs, Sizes, Current Prices, and Inventory Counts.
What we strictly DO NOT collect:
- We do not request read access to your Shopify Customers.
- We do not collect or process your end-users' Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, shipping addresses, or payment details.
- We do not request read access to your Shopify Orders.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
When you uninstall the SyncKicks application from your Shopify dashboard or cancel your subscription, we will initiate a secure deletion process of your product catalog and access tokens within 30 days, complying with Shopify's mandatory data redaction webhooks.
4. Third-Party Processors
To operate our service, we share necessary data with trusted subprocessors, including our hosting providers (e.g., Supabase) and payment gateways (e.g., Stripe/LemonSqueezy). All subprocessors are vetted for strict GDPR compliance and are legally bound by Data Processing Agreements.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you possess the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your data. Because our application only processes business operational data and not your consumers' personal data, you can exercise these rights directly through the account settings panel in the SyncKicks dashboard.
